Diane has pledged to donate 10% yearly net profits between two non-profit organizations where she volunteers her time; a food program that feeds the less fortunate of South Lake Tahoe called Bread & Broth, where she serves as a volunteer cook and Cook Coordinator as well as their former Director, and the historic George Whittell Thunderbird Lodge where she's a Master Gardener and former Garden Coordinator. 

Diane also belongs to a national non-profit called Lasagna Love. Their mission started in March 2020 as a way to feed those in need; whether it be hospital personnel, unemployed, over-worked, over-stressed or those just needing a home cooked lasagna. She delivers homemade lasagna pans every week of the year from South Lake Tahoe requests . "It feeds them and as well as my soul".
